We are very happy that you decided to check out our website. We are a part of the Gold Wing Road Riders
Association (GWRRA). It is the world's largest single-marque social organization for owners and riders
of Honda Gold Wing/Valkyrie motorcycles -- and some would say, the world's largest family. Our motto
is, "Friends for Fun, Safety and Knowledge."
We are part of the California District of GWRRA.
From the beaches, to the mountains, through wine country & the deserts, the California district has over 2,500
members within our 22 chapters who simply enjoy riding motorcycles.
Founded in 1977, GWRRA has grown to more than 80,000 U.S., Canadian and
international members in 53 foreign countries. Over 800 active Chapters are managed by 4,000 volunteer
leaders working with members to foster safe, enjoyable riding while also working to improve the public image of motorcycling.
We are dedicated to helping the non-riding public understand the importance of sharing the road with our Motorcycle
community. Our strength comes from our dedication to Safe Riding and the Education of our Members, as well as the Fun we have
while doing it. Please feel free to contact anyone on our staff regarding joining Chapter Z.
Whether you are just starting out, or have been riding a long time, you will enjoy the many
rides, events, and training that will be available to you. We schedule local rides, overnighters, dinner
socials, etc. CA-1Z is the place to be with riders and co-riders that just want to enjoy and make new friends
also.
You can join
us at our regular Chapter gatherings, usually on the first Saturday of each month (second Saturday in September) at
Hometown Buffet, located at 40390 Margarita Road in Temecula. Breakfast is at 8:00am and the meeting/gathering
starts at 9:00am. So, on behalf of the officers, staff and members of our Chapter, thank you for visiting
with us and we hope you will return to join in on the fun and camaraderie.
